‘Avoiding the sharks’

Only properties and land acquisitions promoted and advertised on the website have been subject to our own due diligence.
The due diligence exercised varies depending on the country, rental yield expectation and capital growth of the offer.

Individual developers, banks and lawyers involved in the offer will also be subject to due diligence performed by ourselves.

Many of the Property and Land Investment team are active investors and collectively harbour years of valuable experience within the market.

A brief summary below illustrates a few typical questions that we will approach an investment proposal with:-

  • Have we visited the site/land plot?due dilligence
  • Have we personally met the developer/seller?
  • Is the land title registered?
  • Has planning permission been granted?
  • Has sufficient contact been made with the lawyers (are we in possession of a contract of sale)?
  • Are happy with the location (ie distance from airports, local towns, facilities etc)?
  • Have we researched comparables? Other developers pricing/previous sales in the region?
